Feels so good, but I'm old
2000 years of chasing taking its toll
and it's coming closer

I want you to have the fairytale ending.
To have the perfect ending to one of your many stories
Because you are a princess that should be-
No..deserves to be- scooped up into the arms of that one person who rides on the back of a white horse.
I have grown to learn
The hard way,
That not all poems rhyme
And that not all novels have a definite beginning, middle and end.
But its not all about predicting and knowing whatever appears on our doorstep,
But taking what we get and trying our best.
Skinned knees and blackened eyes
The song that sing the most true and voice the sweetest are those of a saddened thought.
Running from the lions hidden under the windowsill
Will only solidify our certain meeting with robes of black and golden ladders.
So sprite of the night
Do not sorrow and grief
Because you are not one to place a fork in the socket just to feel life's pendulum swing.
Dams break when your saline solution gushes and runs.
Including my own.
