You know, there’s a place we all inhabit, but we don’t much think about it, we’re scarcely conscious of it, and it lasts for less than a minute a day….
It’s in the morning, for most of us. It’s that time, those few seconds when we’re coming out of sleep but we’re not really awake yet.
For those few seconds we’re something more primitive than what we are about to become. We have just slept the sleep of our most distant ancestors, and something of them and their world still clings to us.
For those few moments we are unformed, uncivilized.
We are not the people we know as ourselves, but creatures more in tune with a tree than a keyboard.
We are untitled, unnamed, natural, suspended between was and will be, the tadpole before the frog, the worm before the butterfly.
We are, for a few brief moments, anything and everything we could be. And then… and then–Ah..we open our eyes and the days is before us, and...we become ourselves.
I can only hope to become an ounce of that.

    This is what I'm saying to myself here in my basement, hanging out.
I just got home from an eight hour at the coffeehouse and had an awesome night actually.

I am single again now. but I've got a wicked bad crush on a guy at work. its fierce. I don't think he likes me, and I suspect I creep him out, because everyone knows I like him (its become like a joke now) but I still hang in thereI work at Tim's, and I maybe shouldn't be talking about it online, but I only have good things to say. you've changed some.
life now:
beautiful, wonderful, understanding, split-tongued, tattooed & pierced new boyfriend
new home with wide open windows and the ability to live again
spare money for any opportunity that arises where there wasn't before
a near-addiction near conquered and phased out of my life
dry eyes just about everyday where it used to be the opposite
yep, life is pretty fucking wonderful now, I can honestly say. he makes a huge difference in it and has been spicing up my life for the past month. I haven't been so content in a long time.
and yet still,
I miss you like a man in the desert misses a drink of water.
